this is definitely one of the top comedies ALL TIME thanks to a tour de force performance from tom hanks

I've always found it quite average, really, and although Tom Hanks gives a good performance, he acts more like a small child than a teenager. What 14-year-old doesn't know what a woman means when she says she wants to sleep over? His character, Josh, is presented as a type of horny sex freak in the beginning (along with his best friend). Would he honestly not know how the real world works by that point in time?
I liked the idea but I think it could have been a lot better than it was, really.
