Disappointing attempt at an epic by Oliver Stone. Lacks a clear focus and skimps over many potential intriguing portions of The Great's life in favor of much in the way of ranting, raving, and homosexual leanings, which should not have been present if Stone wanted the film to be a box office hit. The general public never takes well to such things so why bother? Troy left it out and did okay.
